3. User Conduct and Content Moderation
We are dedicated to maintaining a respectful, positive, and sports-focused community. You agree to follow our community standards whenever you use the Service.
3.1 Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use offensive, abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, defamatory, or threatening language in player names, usernames, biographies, squad names, tournament titles, match notes, or feedback.
- Impersonate any person, professional cricketer, team, sponsor, or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or organization.
- Harass, bully, stalk, intimidate, or provoke other players, scorers, or tournament organizers.
- Create fake accounts or post spam, commercial advertisements, or unauthorized solicitations.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attack our servers, APIs, or networks, including introducing viruses, worms, or malicious code.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the mobile application or backend services.
- Use automated scripts, scrapers, or bots to harvest data from the Service without our written permission.
3.2 Automated Profanity Filtering
We enforce automated filtering across our platform to detect and block profanity, slurs, and abusive language in text fields, including usernames, player bios, squad names, and tournament titles. Submissions containing prohibited language will be rejected automatically.
3.3 Reporting and Blocking
To protect our community:
- Reporting: You can report any user, squad, or tournament directly within the app by selecting the Report option. You can report content for spam, harassment, fake accounts, or inappropriate material.
- Blocking: You can block any player directly in the app. Blocked players cannot view your personal profile, send you squad invitations, or interact with you.
- Enforcement: We review submitted reports and take appropriate action, including issuing warnings, removing offending content, or suspending or terminating accounts.
4. Cricket Scoring and Tournament Administration
- Scoring Integrity: Scorers, captains, and tournament administrators agree to record match scores, ball-by-ball actions, dismissals, and tournament results honestly and accurately.
- Sports Utility Only: CricScore is an independent technology platform providing digital scoring, league management, and statistics calculation. CricScore is not an official cricket governing body, umpire board, or match referee.
- No Betting or Gambling: CricScore is strictly a sports scoring and community management utility. The Service does not provide, facilitate, or endorse betting, gambling, real-money wagering, bookmaking, or fantasy cash contests. Any use of the platform to conduct, promote, or coordinate illegal gambling activities is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination.
- On-Field Disputes: CricScore is not responsible for resolving on-field disputes, umpiring errors, tournament disqualifications, venue cancellations, or schedule conflicts between teams and organizers.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
5.1 Our Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, user interface design, logos, visual graphics, icons, databases, algorithms, and documentation, is owned by CricScore and its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the mobile application on your personal device solely for personal, non-commercial cricket management and scoring purposes.

- Representations: You represent that you own or have the necessary rights and permissions to submit all User Content, and that your content does not violate the copyright, trademark, or privacy rights of any third party.
6. Location and Third-Party Services
