The auction room

Every captain bids from their own phone while the room watches the same lot, the same timer and the same purse. No paper slips, no shouting over each other.
- The next valid bid is pre-calculated. You tap the amount, you don't type it.
- A team can't overspend: the purse blocks a bid it can't cover with slots left.
- Cast the room view to a TV: the timer, the lot and the SOLD stamp go big.

Each tournament gets cricscore.app/t/@handle: fixtures, table, caps and the sponsor strip. It loads without the app and without an account, which is what a sponsor actually wants.
Questions organisers ask first.
Is the player auction free to run?
Yes. The auction room, fixtures, the points table, caps and the public tournament page are all free, however many teams you have. There is no paid tier and no per-team charge.
How many teams can bid in one auction room?
Ten. Each captain bids from their own phone while the room watches the same lot, the same timer and the same purse, and you can cast the room view to a TV so the whole hall follows it.
Can a team bid more than its purse?
No. The purse blocks a bid it can't cover once the remaining slots are reserved at the minimum price, so a squad can never be left unfillable at the end of the auction.
